The Prayer Quilt Ministry.

The Prayers and Squares ministry aims to promote an active prayer life among the participants, not just to make and give away quilts. We strive to involve as many people as possible in our prayer efforts. Together with the United Methodist Church, meetings will occur on the first Saturday and the third Monday of the month. 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. Something always needs to be cut, ironed, tied, labeled, sewn and organized. Please join us for this fun, creative, worthwhile mission. If you don’t know how, we’ll show you! Come and let’s get creative!

Prayers and Squares prayer quilt ministry group March meeting consisted of group members working on their various projects, assisting each other as needed, and Sew & Tell showing work on their projects.

We last met April 16th. We worked on putting layers of quilts together with layer of batting, "sandwiching". We worked on sewing and selecting fabric for prayer quilt projects. So far this year, we've added 10 quilts and gifted 8 quilts. We've had 2 new members join recently. Everyone is welcome to join anytime. We always need extra hands doing something. What you don't know, we will teach you.
